Grandpa Jim came for a brief visit, and we packed in a lot of fun in those few days (despite the March cold spell!).
On Saturday, we went to the “Build a Bear” store, where Grandpa spoiled me rotten (my new baby bear is in the portrait below).
On Sunday, we went for brunch at Peels, a cool spot on the Bowery. The food was delicious! I had five pieces of bacon (exterior snap below). 
Then --- we went to the New Museum, also on the Bowery. It is a contemporary art gallery (think: funky AND weird!).
